Where I live: In Foxcroft in west Little Rock with my wife, Beth, and our three sons: Walter, 8, Andrew, 4, and Tyler, 10 months. No pets, but our backyard is heavily wooded so we have deer, raccoons, possums, and various other wild animals around all the time.
Occupation: I am vice president and general counsel for Stephens Insurance LLC.
My favorite space: Basement Media Room, or as my son Andrew calls it, the “Batcave.” When he was little, he heard someone call the room a “Mancave” and since he is such a big Batman fan, he thought they were calling it the Batcave. It has been the Batcave at our house ever since.
Why: The room has a 50-inch television, a computer, lots of seating, and a bar area with lots of Razorback items. It is also a great gathering place for our family to watch television and movies, play board games or cards, or even work on the computer. Even the baby has room for his Exersaucer. It’s also nice to open the French doors for fresh air.
If I could change one thing to improve this space: I would love to have an ice maker in the bar area. Eventually, I would like to expand the room out onto the back patio and make a sunroom area or a screened porch.
