BENTONVILLE — Friends of the Bentonville Public Library will host Stories on the Square today at 10 a.m. at the Farmers Market. Teen library volunteers will read popular children’s books every 30 minutes until noon throughout the event.
The group hopes to inform the public about its mission of supporting the library and prepare for its annual used book sale, according to a news release. The fall sale is set for Oct. 5 and 6 at the library’s Walmart Community Room.
Members can preview the sale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sale hours are 1 p..m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6.
