LITTLE ROCK — BATESVILLE 38, PARAGOULD 6
PARAGOULD - Batesville capitalized on three Paragould turnovers and Kenton Crawford scored two touchdowns as the Pioneers beat the Rams.
The Pioneers built a 21-0 lead on a 7-yard scoring run by Eli Childress, a 3-yard run by Joey Rodriguez and a 20-yard pass to Jonathan Hendrix from Jacob Hardin.
Crawford scored twice in the third quarter for Batesville (3-2, 2-0) on runs of seven yards and 29 yards.
Rodriguez led the Pioneers with 88 yards rushing. Childress ran for 78 yards, and Hardin added 43. Hardin also completed 5 of 9 passes for 72 yards.
Michael Stidham threw for 106 yards for Paragould (2-3, 1-1).
FORREST CITY 51, BEEBE 20
FORREST CITY - Demetrius Parchman scored on runs of 2, 86 and 52 yards to lead Forrest City (4-1, 2-0) to a victory over Beebe (0-5, 0-2).
Forrest City quarterback Eaton Adams threw touchdown passes to receiver Joseph Tripp of 24 and 40 yards.
WYNNE 48, GREENE COUNTY TECH 14
PARAGOULD - Josh Selvey scored three first-quarter touchdowns in Wynne’s victory.
The Yellowjackets (4-0, 2-0) led 27-0 after the first quarter and 48-0 at halftime.
The Eagles (1-4, 0-2) were led by quarterback Brian Griffith, who threw touchdown passes of 80 yards to Travis Ryan and 13 yards to Hunter Matheny in the fourth quarter.
Griffith finished 2 of 2 for 93 yards.
BLYTHEVILLE 12, NETTLETON 7
NETTLETON - Trey Rucker intercepted a pass near Blytheville’s 10 with 1:02 to play to preserve a victory for Blytheville (2-3, 1-1) over Nettleton (2-3, 0-2).
