Rogers High got the best of its cross-town rival for the second time this season in a battle of two of the top tennis teams in the state Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Mounties edged the Lady War Eagles 5-4, while the Rogers boys also defeated Heritage 8-1 at the Rogers High courts.
The Lady War Eagles, who had a 14-match winning streak snapped by Rogers earlier this season, dropped to 10-2 and close the regular season by hosting Van Buren on Oct. 4.
