Failed policies theme for two in Virginia

President Barack Obama told supporters Thursday in Virginia Beach, Va., that his rival represents a return to failed policies.

President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney shadowed each other for a second-consecutive day in a battleground state, appealing for votes by arguing the other is pushing failed policies.

Speaking in Virginia Beach, Va. President Barack Obama said during a campaign rally that he will fight to create jobs and better schools for all Americans, not just those who vote for him. GOP presidential nominee campaigned in Springfield, Virginia Thursday. At an American Legion post, Romney said President Barack Obama isn't leading Congress in the face of what he called devastating military cuts. (By The Associated Press)
