I am very disappointed in the music this year. Seems the Blues music has lost out in favor of the local bands. There are very few if any blues bands playing this weekend. The whole thing started with Bikes Blues and BBQ. they should just change the name to Bikes Music and BBQ because with Joe Giles running the music we will only get to hear his friends bands playing. They should understand that people come here to hear Blues music not the same old cover bands they can hear any weekend in about any club in america. Come on get back to what made this weekend famous to so many. Kinda like driving hours to go eat steak and finding out they only have soup.
Second gripe: I saw where the BBB Organizers say they donate money to charities which is great but getting a school club or the boy scouts to clean up Dickson st is not a donation that is pay for work done. The same as Bud Walton getting cleaned by youth groups they work for the money. i know they are trying but come on quit sugar coating the fact that you haven't given any money away in few years, maybe that will get better this year.
