Bogles Honored At Program

— Bob and Marilyn Bogle of Bentonville were honored Saturday by America in Bloom at its national symposium in Fayetteville.

The Bogles were honored for their dedicated commitment to beauty in their community, according to a news release.

Two of the most popular parks in Bentonville for wedding and prom photos are the Bogles’ private flower gardens. They purchased the properties, designed the gardens and built the gazebo and arbors, according to the release.

Marilyn Bogle also has provided leadership to the Bentonville Garden Club, which has partnered with Bentonville, the Bentonville Public School Foundation, the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce and the Benton County Fair Association to enhance landscapes and heritage preservation throughout the community, according to the release.

“The Bogles are humble, generous, kind people who believe that they can truly make a difference by bringing beauty and particularly flowers to their community,” said Katy Moss Warner, an America in Bloom international judge and board member.

Nearly 30 national awards were presented during the three-day program held at Fayetteville Town Center.

America in Bloom provides educational programs, resources and the challenge of a friendly competition between participating communities across the country, according to the release.
