Maumelle distribution center ships out online orders

Inside the Dillard’s Inc. distribution center in Maumelle, 167 orange robots dart back and forth, helping their human counterparts ship orders made through the company’s online store.

Little Rock-based Dillard's on Tuesday offered a tour of its internet fulfillment center in Maumelle, a state-of-the-art, 850,000-square-foot facility that employs more than 300 people and uses robots to move merchandise. (By Gavin Lesnick)
