SPRINGDALE GEORGE DEF. BENTONVILLE BLACK 2-0

Springdale George is still in the race for a Northwest Arkansas Conference title after knocking off Bentonville Black in in straight sets Tuesday night 25-17, 25-17.

The Lady Wranglers (9-3) fell out of a three-way tie for first place after a loss to Rogers Heritage on Monday night, but used a strong performance from Ryann Goodsell (seven kills, five aces, two blocks) to top Black. Desiree Mack had five kills and two blocks for George.

The Lady Tigers (6-6) were led by Mindy Viera (six kills) and Olivia Barrera (nine assists, four digs).

Bentonville will play Rogers High at 6 p.m. Monday. George will travel to Fayetteville Ramay at 6 p.m. Monday.

In the eighth-grade match Lincoln defeated George 25-12, 25-19.

SPRINGDALE SOUTHWEST DEF. FAYETTEVILLE RAMAY 2-1

Reilly Wisdom led Springdale Southwest with 10 points and Emily Doss added finished with nine points and seven assists as the Lady Cougars topped Fayetteville Ramay 25-15, 23-25, 25-18.

Ashley Breathitt turned in three aces, four kills, 11 digs and four assists for Ramay (0-12). Ramay also got solid play at the net from Dashundra Morgan, who had five blocks and two kills. Jaquayla Hill chipped in four aces, two kills, five digs and four assists.

The Lady Indians will host Springdale George on Monday at 6:30 pm. Southwest (6-6) will host Siloam Springs at 6pm.

In the eighth-grade match Southwest defeated Ramay 25-17, 25-13.

SILOAM SPRINGS DEF. ROGERS HIGH 2-0

Siloam Springs bounced back from a Monday night defeat to top Rogers High 25-22, 25-22.

Arika Johnson and Sidney Avery combined for 13 kills to lead Siloam Springs (6-6). Hannah Evans posted five kills and Hannah Headrick scored three aces.

Siloam Springs will look to carry the momentum into its match with Springdale Southwest on Monday. Both teams are 6-6. Rogers (3-9) will play Bentonville Black at 6 p.m.

In the eighth-grade match Siloam Springs defeated Rogers 25-14, 25-19.

FAYETTEVILLE WOODLAND DEF. ROGERS HERITAGE 2-1

Fayetteville Woodland outlasted Rogers Heritage in a three-set match to grab the top spot in the NWAC. The Cowgirls rebounded from a loss in the opening set to take the match 19-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Olivia Doty had six kills to lead the way for Woodland (10-2). Ella May Powell, Abbie Kathol and Haley Warner each had five kills.

The Cowgirls will travel to Bentonville Gold at 6 p.m.

Heritage (6-6) will look to rebound against Springdale Central on Monday at 6:30 p.m.

In the eighth-grade match Woodland defeated Lingle 25-22, 25-18.

SPRINGDALE CENTRAL DEF. BENTONVILLE GOLD 2-1

Sara Davis had 12 kills and two aces to lead Springdale Central over Bentonville Gold 25-21, 23-25, 25-23.

Paige Williams added nine kills for Central (6-6), while Grace Sugg and Elizabeth Williams chipped in 12 assists each.

Sadie Pate led Gold (9-3) with 15 kills, and Lauren Saulsbery added 19 assists.

Washington took the eighth-grade match 23-25, 25-14, 15-9.

Central plays at Rogers Heritage on Monday at 6 p.m.
