Arkansas running back Knile Davis (center) is stopped by a host of Rutgers defenders during the first quarter Saturday. With its running game shut down, Arkansas relied on quarterback Tyler Wilson, who completed 20 of 40 passes for 419 yards and 3 touchdowns, but a key fourth-quarter interception in the end zone ensured Rutgers’ victory.
Rutgers cornerback Duron Harmon had an understandable reaction when he intercepted Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson late in the fourth quarter : “a sigh of relief.” Harmon’s interception all but sealed the Scarlet Knights’ 35-26 victory against the Razorbacks in front of 72,543 Saturday at Reynolds Razorback Stadium. It also ended Wilson’s and Cobi Hamilton’s decimation of the Scarlet Knights’ pass defense.
