Marshals Museum hosts History Day

Area teachers and students in grades 6-12 are invited to attend a free History Day workshop from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Saturday at the U.S. Marshals Museum office, 100 Garrison Ave. in Fort Smith.

History Day is a national competition where students build their own exhibits, write research papers, create documentaries, perform or create websites. Participants will learn more about this year’s History Day theme “Turning Points in History,” get tips on how to create successful projects and get advice from state History Day coordinator Pat Ramsey.
