The Rogers Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ semiannual conference will be today and Sunday at the Latter-day Saints chapel in Bentonville, 1101 McCollum Road. The Saturday evening adult session will begin at 7 p.m. and the Sunday morning general session will begin at 10 a.m.

The conference will be broadcast to other Latter-day Saints chapels in Centerton (950 Seba Road) and Rogers (2805 Dixieland Road). All church and community members are invited to attend.

Christ for the World of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, 3320 N. Second St., will celebrate the Jewish New Year 5773 during its New Beginnings prophetic revivaltoday and Sunday. Services are at 7 p.m. each night. An additional service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Speakers include Bobby Hogan, Jodi Lynn, Rebecca Gongaswaki and Isaiah Hogan.

Village Bible Evangelical Free Church in Bella Vista, 210 Town Center S.E., will begin its new two-service schedule on Sunday. The first worship service will be at 8:30 a.m. Sunday school classes will be available for all ages at 10 a.m., followed by the second worship service at 11 a.m.

Infant nursery and children’s church will be available during the second service. Both services will include the same music and message.

The Community Band will perform its last concert of the year at 3 p.m. Sunday in Becker Hall at First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive.

The concert is free but a free-will basket will be available.

The United Methodist Women will present the 35th annual Holiday Bazaar from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 6.

Homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee will be available when the doors open. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.

Proceeds will benefit charities supported by the women’s group.

Sunday’s program at Unitarian Universalists of Benton County in Rogers, 501 S. 40th St., will be social and includes a potluck lunch, games and songs. The focus is on connection.

Service Sunday is Sept. 30.

The community will meet at the activity center of Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area for a walkway cleanup and a picnic. The meeting time is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fayetteville Quakers have planned a visitor’s coffee hour at 11 a.m. Sept. 30 in the Bennett House at the Omni Center for Peace, Justice and Equality in Fayetteville, 3274 N. Lee St. Singing begins at 9:30 a.m. and the unprogrammed meeting for worship is at 9:45 a.m.

Items such as protein bars, powdered drink mixes, travel size toiletries and granola bars are needed. Monetary donations to assist in shipping costs also are welcome.
