PUBLIC VIEWPOINT Bentonville Needs Animal Shelter

Bentonville is really a town to be proud of, especially with the addition of Crystal Bridges, the bike trails, all the beautiful parks, and a wide array of businesses. But there is one thing Bentonville lacks that a city our size needs: an animal shelter.

There is no telling how many millions of dollars Walmart makes off selling pet supplies, yet they don't even support a animal shelter in their own home town. There is something seriously wrong with this picture! Something tells me they might just be afraid to take a stand on the animal welfare issue otherwise Bentonville would have a State of the Art Animal Shelter with the lowest euthanasia rate in the country....Thank You Linda for speaking up!
