Family matters not detouring Earnhardt Jr.

NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. isn’t letting the family drama at JR Motorsports affect his performance as he prepares for Sunday’s Sylvania 300, the second race in this season’s Chase for the Sprint Cup. Earnhardt, seventh after last week’s opener, qualified 14th on Friday.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. insists that he’ll be able to ignore the family drama at JR Motorsports when he gets behind the wheel at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday.
