Administration Building Named For Board President

The administration building for Rogers Public Schools was renamed the Joye R. Kelley Building on Tuesday. It was Kelley’s final meeting as a School Board member. Kelley served on the board since 1983 and as president for 20 of those 29 years. “I’m just so overwhelmed,” Kelley said after the announcement.

Sterling Wilson filed for Kelley’s position and ran unopposed. He will be sworn in prior to next month’s board meeting.
