Police search a house Tuesday on Mission Boulevard.

Police responding to a call Tuesday morning at 516 N. Mission Blvd. found a naked woman standing in the road covered in blood, said Sgt. Craig Stout of the Fayetteville Police Department.

The woman was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center. She was not injured, Stout said. He said she was 41 years old but would not provide a name.

Stout said he was not ready Tuesday morning to say where the blood came from. He said later Tuesday that a dead dog was found inside, but would not release other information.
