Terrific idea, Mr. Trumbo!

I agree that changing the laws should be no problem; the NRA, Chamber of Commerce and ALEC could make a few discrete suggestions and the entrepreneurial spirit would do the rest. There's good money to be made in firearms rental. Look how the bicycle rental business is booming in NYC.

The bike rental outlets could really make a killing in this line of business; the business template is already established - they could simply add firearms in the accessory column along with helmets and bike locks.

And think of the cycle safety advantages; aggressive drivers are sure to show the cyclist a little more respect on the streets if there's a chance that bumping that bike will bring on a bullet.

How about renting a handlebar mounted cannon for the uncompromising safety conscious rider?

Additional gun friendly laws aren't the answer. Mr. Trumbo makes an excellent point without resorting to preaching or railing.
