Lean Green Cuisine's gourmet vegan meals are naturally made, heavily organic, heart-healthy, rich in nutrients and ready to eat.
Lean Green Cuisine owner Judy Paynesmith found her calling when she discovered a way to bring keep conscious eating at the forefront of todays hectic, grab-and-go lifestyle.
I feel like Im doing a real service by helping people be healthier, she said.
Lean Green Cuisines gourmet vegan meals are naturally made, heavily organic, heart-healthy, rich in nutrients and ready to eat.
Paynesmiths contributions reach beyond delighting her customers with tasty meals. The business supports local farmers, abstains from using any animal products or by-products, uses a delivery car fueled by vegetable oil, doesnt have a microwave or dishwasher, and uses biodegradable take-out containers.
Lean Green Cuisine affords a unique dining experience by uniting prepackaged food with healthy, chef-prepared dishes.
Every Tuesday, a new menu is posted online at leangreencuisine.com. Customers can order online or by calling (479) 443-2327. Orders placed by 6 p.m. Friday are guaranteed for pick-up or delivery the following Monday. Delivery is available for a nominal charge from Fayetteville to Bella Vista. Customers can leave a cooler outside for the food in if they will not be home.
Merhige and Helms prepare the meals on Saturday and Sunday, packaging the orders Sunday night.
We try to cook just enough to fulfill orders, but there is sometimes extra, Paynesmith said.
Those extras can be purchased at the store on Monday by anyone, and whatever is not sold by Tuesday is donated to the Peace at Home Shelter.
The owners and staff at Lean Green Cuisine are passionate about having a positive effect on health and the environment. They are open and available to answer questions and provide guidance to people who are novice to whole foods and vegan cuisine.
In an effort to minimize waste without compromising the ability to transport and portion the meals, Lean Green Cuisine uses No. 7 plastic that is biodegradable to package each item.
