Center Searches For Community Support

Jeannie Smith, fundraising director for the Arkansas Visitation and Exchange Center, describes plans Friday inside the center’s Bentonville building. The center has been closed since April, but could open under a $30,000 contract with Benton County. Supporters are attempting to raise an annual budget of $200,000.
The board games are shelved, the dolls lie still and the air hockey table is empty at the Arkansas Visitation and Exchange Center.
