Bulldogs Let It Slip Away

Deandre Murray jogged into the end zone, giving Springdale High its first touchdown and finally a reason to be optimistic after struggling offensively for much of Friday night.

Bixby shut down Springdale High’s offense for most of the night, then scored 13 points in the final nine minutes to turn a 9-7 lead into a 15-point victory.

Why The Bulldogs Lost

Springdale struggled to get into an offensive rhythm, trailing 2-0 at halftime. The problems in the passing game and the lack of protection showed as the Bulldogs dropped their first game of the season.
