Wilson will be a game-time decision

FAYETTEVILLE — A final decision on Tyler Wilson's availability for Arkansas' game against Alabama won't be made until Saturday, Razorbacks coach John L. Smith said Friday.
The fifth-year senior quarterback was knocked out of last weekend's game against Louisiana-Monroe with a head injury. He hasn't practiced this week except for going through some throwing drills on Wednesday.
He was absent from Arkansas' practice on Thursday. Sources indicated Wilson was visiting a concussion specialist.
In two partial games played this season, Wilson has passed for 563 yards and five touchdowns.
If he is unable to play, redshirt freshman quarterback Brandon Allen will likely start for the Razorbacks. Allen completed 6 of 20 passes for 85 yards against ULM, throwing one touchdown and one interception.
Arkansas (1-1) is coming off a 34-31 overtime loss to ULM after being ranked No. 8 nationally heading into the game. The Razorbacks dropped out of the Associated Press rankings following the loss, marking the second-largest one-week fall ever.
Alabama is ranked No. 1 in both major polls and is 2-0 this season. The Crimson Tide have outscored Michigan and Western Kentucky by a combined 76-14.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The game will be televised by CBS.
