Extending Medicaid to 250,000 working poor has risks for the state despite promised federal support, state lawmaker candidates from both major parties said in a health care forum Wednesday.

All but a very few of hospital administrators in Arkansas APPROVE Medicaid expansion.
If these short-sighted Republicans want to see more hospitals fold up then prevent the expansion. Unpaid medical bills are the reason for higher hospital costs.
Hundreds of millions in unpaid hospital cost must be averaged in to arrive at per patient treatment costs.
Hence your premiums increase to cover increased costs.
