Faster, slimmer iPhone 5 debuts

Apple Inc. unveiled a new version of the iPhone on Wednesday that boasts a bigger screen, faster chip and access to speedier wireless networks, an overhaul aimed at besting Samsung Electronics Co. and Google Inc. in the $219.1 billion smart-phone market.
