Assured, Beebe urges Medicaid expansion

Opt-out guarantee satisfies his concerns

Gov. Mike Beebe said Tuesday that he supports state expansion of Arkansas’ Medicaid program by 250,000 people, substantially swelling the rolls of the $4.8 billion program that already covers more than one-fourth of the state’s population.
