Airport Project OK’d

CITY TO PAY ABOUT $75,000 FOR IMPROVEMENTS

The municipal airport will have more room for planes to maneuver after the City Council approved a $591,531 improvement project Tuesday night.

Council Action

Bentonville’s City Council on Tuesday approved:

  • Rezoning 2800 S.W. Regional Airport Boulevard from general commercial to light industrial
  • Reappointing Alan Lewis, Travis Riggs and Chris Sooter to the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee and Debi Havner to the Tree and Landscape Advisory Committee
  • Appointing Mike Roberts as representative on the Benton County Solid Waste Management District Board
  • A contract with Traffic Engineering Consultants for a study at 20 intersections
