Agent Describes Stakeout Of Suspect

Philip Hanson was arrested after authorities saw him throw a plastic shopping bag with containers of white powder residue, envelopes and torn up greeting cards in a trash can near his home, a federal agent told jurors Tuesday.

A Hebrew phrase from the Book of Daniel was in letters containing white powder sent to employees at DaySpring, a Siloam Springs greeting card company. In Daniel, the words were written by a mysterious hand on the wall of Belshazzar’s palace, and interpreted by Daniel as predicting the doom of the king and his dynasty. The verse is in Daniel 1-28.
