Plans set to mark Central High event

Singer and civil-rights leader Harry Belafonte, 1968 Olympic gold medalist Tommie Smith and some of the nine black students at Little Rock Central High School in 1957 will be among the participants commemorating the 55th anniversary of the school’s desegregation, officials announced Thursday.
