Patriot Event Remembers Those Lost

Jozlynn Smith, held by her mother, Jessica Smith, delights in getting a child’s fire hat Saturday from Lance Selph, Fayetteville firefighter, at Patriot Day, held at the Center for NonProfits in Rogers. The event featured displays of firefighting, military and law enforcement equipment to raise awareness and appreciation for the jobs performed by police, military personnel and firefighters. Jozlynn saw the sights of Patriot Day with her mom and dad, Anthony Smith, of Fayetteville.

ROGERS — Capt. Josh Owens lifted children into an Arkansas National Guard helicopter during the second annual Patriot Day event organized by Sheep Dog on Saturday.

Art Scene Grows In Bentonville
