Two School Board candidates said they haven’t decided what they will do about new attendance boundaries in the district.

Fayetteville School Election
Two candidates are vying for the Fayetteville School Board Zone 4 seat being vacated by Becky Purcell. Only the 9,530 registered voters living in that zone are eligible to vote in that race. Zone 4 residents and patrons in other zones have the option to vote on the district millage rate for the coming year. The rate is 45.65 mills and no change is requested by the district. Early voting begins Tuesday and continues through Sept. 17 at the Washington County Clerk’s Office. The office is open for early voting from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The election is Sept. 18.
