Jones Elementary named Blue Ribbon School

Three Arkansas schools, including Russell D. Jones Elementary School in Rogers, were added to the list of National Blue Ribbon Schools today.
"Schools honored with the National Blue Ribbon Schools award are committed to accelerating student achievement and preparing students for success in college and careers," Secretary of Education Arne Duncan said in a news release.
The other Arkansas schools were Forest Park Elementary School and Little Rock Christian Academy, both in Little Rock.

Congratulations to Russell D. Jones Elementary is winning a very accomplished award. This will show all the parents and residents of Northwest Arkansas what we have always known, that the staff, teachers, and students of Jones Elementary are a very talented and very dedicated group of individuals!!!

I always knew the teachers at Jones Elementary were very talented, but now everyone knows. Kudos!!! Be proud of our schools!!!
