100 YEARS AGO Sept. 6, 1912 JONESBORO — Becoming afraid of a hoot owl, the four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Richardson of Dell, near here, sought safety on a log in a lake, where the child remained all last night before being discovered this morning by her parents.
