Arrest made in burglary that left man dead

Police have made a second arrest in a November burglary that ended with one of the burglars dead and another man shot.

In the Nov. 29 incident, three armed men broke into a house at 232 N. Olive St. and confronted the residents, according to the news release. In the following struggle, Roderick "Rah Rah" Cooper, one of the burglars, was killed. Cory Roberts, one of the residents, was shot.

On Thursday, police arrested Darreon Matthews, 22, in connection with aggravated residential burglary and engaging in violent group activity, according to a news release. Police had earlier arrested David Richardson in connection with the incident, the news release stated.

One suspect remains at large, according to the news release, and anyone with information is asked to call authorities.
