McIlroy, golf’s top player, moves atop standings

Top-ranked PGA Tour golfer Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland survived a few “wobbles” to finish with a 4-under-par 67 Monday and edged Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa by one stroke to win the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass.

Rory McIlroy got the start he wanted Monday at the Deutsche Bank Championship, erasing a three-shot deficit in just five holes. He also got the finish he wanted, with golf’s No. 1 player posing with the trophy.
