— Chris Wyrick was named executive director of The Razorback Foundation, Inc. on Monday.

Wyrick has been at Arkansas since 2008 as an associate athletics director. In 2010 he worked with the foundation - the university's private fundraising entity for athletics - in the Razorback Seat Value Plan initiative.

R.S.V.P., a seating equity plan for home football games, resulted in 2,600 new members to the foundation and an initial $6.5 million spike in donations.

Wyrick replaces Harold Horton at the foundation. Horton, a former player and assistant coach at Arkansas, retired on July 31.

The foundation received $26.2 million in donations from its 12,955 members during the 2012 fiscal year, according to figures released by the UA last month.

Private donations accounted for $7.43 million - or 11 percent - of the athletics department's $68.96 million budget last year.
