Redshirt junior Brandon Mitchell is still Arkansas’ emergency quarterback, but it looks like he’s found a comfortable new home at receiver.

Junebugred, who won the Smarty Jones Stakes under jockey Joe Bravo at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs on Jan. 16, will be back on the track Monday, running in the $350,000 Smarty Jones Stakes at Parx near Philadelphia. It will be his first race since undergoing surgery to remove a bone chip from his ankle in February.

Glad to see Brandon have a big night catching the ball. Even though he didn't score, he put the Hogs in position to score. I expect him to have big games in the future. He's a 'football player.'
