Mothers Accused Of Stabbing Child

ROGERS — A mother was accused Thursday of stabbing her son, according to Rogers police.

Tina Marie Schofield-Starks, 45, of 715 S. Second St. in Rogers was arrested in connection with second degree domestic battery, a Class C felony, according to a news release.

Detectives responded to a call Thursday from the Child Abuse Hotline in which Schofield-Starks was accused of stabbing her 12-year-old son in the hand with a pen. The incident occurred while the boy was in school, according to the news release.

Schofield-Starks was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
