Maudrecus Humphrey, a former Razorback football player, has been sent to a drug court diversion program.
Maudrecus Humphrey was one of three players dismissed from the team after being charged with stealing computers and other items from dorm rooms.
Marquel Wade and Andrew Peterson were each sentenced previously to six months jail time and five years probation for their roles in a series of thefts in the Northwest Quads dormitory in May.
Wade and Peterson both pleaded guilty to one count of residential burglary.
The original arrest report, following an investigation by the University of Arkansas Police Department, charged the three with taking items, including laptop computers, DVDs, textbooks and cash, valued at $4,817, from dorm rooms beginning May 1.
The report alleged the three players were captured on surveillance videos May 2 walking the hallways in Northwest Quads Building B and entering unlocked rooms. A clerk at the Campus Bookstore on Dickson Street told investigators Humphrey, Peterson and Wade had been in the store exchanging textbooks for cash, according to the police report. Also, textbooks and other property reported as stolen were recovered from Peterson’s dorm suite, according to the report.
