FAYETTEVILLE — Area drivers will begin driving today on two new lanes of North Crossover Road, while construction crews close existing lanes, according to the Highway and Transportation Department.
Crews begin adjusting traffic signals and signs along the 2.2-mile expansion project from Joyce Boulevard to Mission Boulevard, according to a press release.
The $12.6 million project will expand the three lanes of northbound and southbound traffic to four lanes. The state estimates the project will be completed by early 2014.
