Stengel ruins Bearden’s good thing

Superstar sluggers and pitchers are usually destined for the Baseball Hall of Fame. The late Gene Bearden had an incredible year as a left-handed knuckle ball pitcher with the Cleveland Indians in 1948.

Rockets roll with 10 in top 12

Little Rock Catholic’s Noah Findlay (142) looks back at teammate Colin O’Mara (159) as they near the finish line Monday in the boys’ 7A-Central cross country meet in Cabot.
