Justices hear surveillance case

Law aimed at foreigners snares U.S. innocents, its challengers say

The Supreme Court on Monday questioned a government request to invalidate a lawsuit challenging the expansion of a surveillance law used to monitor conversations of foreign spies and terrorist suspects.
