School Board Discusses Public Comment Policy

Bentonville School Board members discussed its public comment policy during a retreat Saturday.

Board Membership
Travis Riggs, Bentonville School Board president, is the only board member to have served more than a year. Four new members were sworn in Monday. Willie Cowgur won an election last September and Rudy Upshaw was appointed earlier this year.

Good to see the board is addressing the important issues first, like limiting the community input.
Filling out forms so that the board can filter who gets to speak and about what topic doesn't seem to be in the spirit or transparency.
