Wildcats Fumble Away Game To Fayetteville
Posted: October 27, 2012 at 4:42 a.m.
Tucker Lee, left, Springdale Har-Ber senior running back, carries the ball as Fayetteville senior linebacker Heath McCracken, left, and senior safety Alex Brignoni try to bring Lee down Friday during the first half at Harmon Stadium.
When Taryll Henry scooped up the football and raced into the south end zone at Harmon Stadium late in the fourth quarter, it seemed like the perfect way for Fayetteville to cap the night.

Why the Bulldogs won
The Fayetteville defense made key adjustments after halftime and made all the big plays in the final two quarters. Despite losing linebacker Brooks Ellis to an injury in the second half, Fayetteville’s defense made key stops at the goal line and forced turnovers to turn the game in its favor.
Why the Wildcats lost
Har-Ber was able to move the football with its powerful run game, but five lost fumbles were the difference. Defensively, the Wildcats did enough to win the game, but allowed Fayetteville quarterback Austin Allen to avoid pressure on several occasions to keep drives alive.
