The crowd at Pirate Stadium was getting anxious for their Greenland Pirates to get warmed up on a cold Friday night against Elkins.

Greenland took advantage of Elkins turnovers and made big plays when it needed to. Quarterback Darian Froud scored two touchdowns and led the Pirates in passing and rushing.

Why the Elks Lost

Elkins turned the ball over six times and were unable to get into the end zone.
