4 taken to hospital following fight at Springdale school

A patient is removed from the Springdale High School ninth-grade ALE building Friday morning.

At least one person was transported to the hospital following a fight Friday morning at the Springdale ninth-grade alternative learning environment building, said Lt. Kevin Lewis, a spokesman for the Springdale Police Department.

Rick Schaeffer, a spokesman for the Springdale School District, said the fight was arranged the night before using social media. He said four students were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Police and medics responded to the incident.
