Iced Tea Leads To Arrests In Copper Case

A gallon of Red Diamond iced tea led Rogers Police to arrest five people in connection with causing damages and stealing copper wire valued at more than $900,000 this summer.

According to court documents, Swepco reported May 28 and July 1 the theft of a large amount of copper from a storage lot on 2109 S. Eighth St. in Rogers. A large amount of copper also was reported stolen on June 26 from Carroll Electric’s lot at 2502 W. Hudson Road in Rogers, according to court documents.

Students Learn Meth Dangers
