Sheriffs explain inmate lapses

Evidence room looted in 1 case

The investigation of suspected drug dealing by a state inmate assigned to the Baxter County sheriff’s office led to the discovery of two holes in an evidence room wall and an empty storage bin that once contained drugs seized as evidence, according to reports presented to a state oversight committee in Pine Bluff on Tuesday.
