Cowboys win with kicking, defense, decisions

Posted: October 22, 2012 at 4:22 a.m.

Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey (5) approaches the ball as punter Brian Moorman (2) holds during Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, N.C. Bailey kicked a 28-yard field goal with 3:25 remaining to give the Cowboys a 16-14 lead and added another less than 2 minutes later in a 19-14 victory. Bailey kicked four field goals and quarterback Tony Romo threw for 277 yards and a touchdown.

Tony Romo knows how to win a close game, something Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers still haven’t figured out.
