Where I live: I live in Springdale in the Meadow Haven subdivision. The house fits our family perfectly. It’s close by my Mom and my in-laws, so that’s great for baby-sitting.

Occupation: I am director of the Springdale Senior Center and Meals on Wheels program. We help the over-60 population remain active as contributing members of society. We plan all kinds of outings and things for them to do here. We serve lunch here. We also have the Meals on Wheels program, so we deliver hot, nutritious meals to any home-bound senior citizen. The goal of that is to keep people in their own homes as long as possible, and I think that’s very important. My favorite part about this job is almost every day you get a “thank you” and you get to make a difference.

My favorite space: Our family area.

Why? It’s kind of two rooms built into one. It’s a family room, but it has a foosball table and a game table. It’s my favorite spot because that’s where everyone gathers in our house. We try to have family night once a month. We have my family over — my sisters and their husbands, my Mom. Anytime there’s a Razorbacks game it’s where everybody comes to watch. I grew up with a single mom, and she instilled the importance of family in us.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Add a piano because my daughter’s taking piano lessons.
