Camara kicking up his heels

Posted: October 20, 2012 at 3:27 a.m.

Central Arkansas kicker Eddie Camara, a transfer from Arkansas, has made 5 of 7 field-goal attempts and 34 of 35 extra-point attempts this season, with his only miss coming in the season opener Sept. 1 at Mississippi. His longest kick of the season, a career-long 47-yarder, gave the Bears a 27-26 victory over McNeese State last week in Lake Charles, La.

Eddie Camara was the odd man out two years ago in Arkansas’ placekicking competition.
