100 YEARS AGO Oct. 17, 1912 ROGERS — Steps are being taken here to build an auto road from Rogers To Eureka Springs, a distance of 35 miles, across the Ozark hills. A meeting was held here a few days ago to meet with Dr. C. E. Davis, who is promoting the Eureka Springs end of the road. Eureka Springs proposes to build to Rogers at the county line a first-class auto road.
